My friend, Baloo

 In the very beggining of the trip, I had no idea where we were going! I just got in the car because I love car rides. But this car ride was long. I tried to get comfortable when I found out that we were going to travel for almost three hours, but it didn’t work out too well.

 Well, it worked for the time being.

When our car pulled into a parking spot, I was eager to get out of the car. I was excited because I thought that we were at our destination, but it turned out to be just a rest spot. When I got out of the car though, I didn’t care where we were. The fresh air never felt so good! I took a jog outside while my brother, sister, and dad went in a store. Then my mom went in after putting me in the car again. I started to get frantic because I didn’t want to be in the car, but after a few minutes, my mom came out again to check on me. And after my dad, bro, and sis came out of the store, it was time to hit the road again! I was relieved we were finally going to our destination, but still didn’t want another hour of driving. But I couldn’t wait to get there.

After a while, we finally finally finally pulled into a driveway of somebody’s house. I was so excited, and once again jumped out of the car when the door was open for me. I stretched a little, and then trotted inside the house. When I took my first step into the house, very nice people were there to meet me and after I saw them, I saw my good buddy, Baloo. We immediately started playing while everyone else unpacked the car. After their duty was done, the adults talked and the kids played while Baloo and I tackled each other. We also saw the kids too, and then we all played outside.

After we played a outisde, the kids and adults went on an adventure while we stayed in the backyard. Baloo and I both wanted to go back inside but we both had to suck it up and stay out there for a few hours. However, we had a lot of  fun. When everybody finally got back, the dads and three of the kids left again to go play frisbee. But there were still people to keep us company. Finally, when everybody came back, we all just hung out and played some more. That night, all the kids went to bed and the adults talked. And after the adults went to sleep, Baloo and I went to sleep. I wanted to see the kids some more, but we both decided that we should probably get to sleep. So we did.

The next morning was anything but early. Everybody slept in for a long time- according to me and Baloo. When the kids started to wake up, Baloo and I walked over so we could get pet. Also, Baloo and I played some more.

I liked being pet, and playing! After every one else got up, we had breakfast, and then we got ready for the day. Well, the owners did. Meanwhile, Baloo and I just sniffed around. And after everybody got ready, we got to go on a car ride! The only problem was that Baloo and I got stuck in the back. We did not like it back there very much (well I didn’t) because I couldn’t see out the window, and I couldn’t get pet! I didn’t even know where we were going! But it all turned out ok. It wasn’t even a very long car drive! We had just driven to a national park in Wyoming, which I liked very much. When we got there, we got out, and hiked around. Our hike took a few hours, so it was tiring, but it was still a lot of  fun! I even got to roll around in the dirt!

 When we were finally done with our hike, we headed back to the car and then headed back to the house. Well, that was where the owners dropped us off. Then they went and headed into down town. Baloo and I played and also slept some while the owners were gone. When the finally got back, we were happy. But when the adults and kids got back, my bro, sis, dad, and mom packed up there bags and everything we had unloaded at the house! I knew what that meant! Leaving. I was happy to go in the car but sad because I had to leave Baloo. Everyone said their goodbyes and I said good bye to Baloo. I told him that I would see him soon. And then we headed in the car and left. I knew it was a long drive back home so I got situated. I was comfortable as I dozed off on our way home.

So Wyoming was very very very very fun! Thank you to Baloo and his family because this experience was just pawsome! Well, I have to go now, but see you on my next adventure!

But after a few minutes, I realized something. There was another dog there named Toby! I sniffed him and played with him, but he didn’t want to play as much as Bella and I did. However, Toby was a really good catcher. He liked to run after balls thrown for him, and whenever Toby would get a ball, I would be amazed.

 All of us dogs played, and when we got tired, we rested. Did I mention there were little and big kids in the situation? Well, there were and trust me, it was hard to try to tackle the other dogs with kids like my brother and sister in the way. But, nevertheless, I had a bonech of fun!!

After the playdate, I was wiped, but I was as hawppy as a dog can be!! Well, I have to go now, but see you later!

My story is about when I met my neice. Yes! That’s right! I am an Uncle. Uncle Myles to be prefered. It turns out that my parent’s friends got their puppy from the same breeder I came from! They did the math, and it turns out that Bella, a mini goldendoodle, is my neice! When I met her, we started playing right away. And I gotta tell ya, she may be small but she can fight hard! Nevertheless, I still had a lot of fun with her. We wrestled each other, tackled each other, and even more! The only bad part was that she got all of the attention. I thrive on attention, so that kind of bugged me. Oh well! I guess I have to be a good guest and a role model in order to teach her to be like me!

Every year we go Christmas tree cutting with our friends, and this year, we did it once again. We usually find the same parking spot as the year before, but this year, we parked somewhere totally different! When we all got out of the car, Zion and I raced to the wide open field in our parking spot, and we tackled. It was super fun. After a little bit, it was time to hunt for the Christmas tree. Zion and his family went downhill, while we went up. The snow was super deep. It was up to my neck and I even decided to break trail. And let me tell ya, that was not as easy as you think it would be. We finally found our perfect Christmas tree, and cut it down. While we were cutting it down, a huge jackrabbit thing ran by, but I didn’t feel like chasing it.

We got back down to the car with our tree, and Zion and I tackled some more. It kind of got annoying though, when our owners were dumping out chili they hadn’t eaten, and he was stealing my share. I got a little feisty when that happened.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRR!

Everybody left, and we headed on home. Then it was time to decorate! My dad hung all the lights up while we helped him, and then he hung all of the garland stuff up. My favorite part was the ornament hanging. We pulled up all of our old memories. The house felt pretty cozy. When we were all finished, we stared at the tree. Boy was it beeeeeuuuuuuutifal!

Merry Christmas!

For our New Years, my family and I went up to Breckinridge, and we went with Zion’s family too. Zion wasn’t there though. Anyway, on New Years eve, we always do fireworks. We had these rockets that were really scary, so I hid in the car while they set them off. The rockets were going fine untill we set off one of them. I heard a whistle, and then screaming. What had happened was that the rocket tipped over and shot into the garage, and it zoomed right past all of us. Luckily, it didn’t actually hit anything, and a fire didn’t start. And, it turned out that my sis and her friend her age decided to go outside on that particular rocket, so they didn’t know what it was like in the garage.

Well, the fireworks were all better after that-partially because my sister hid the rockets.
